1. Open the Outlook Express mail client.
2. Open the "Tools" menu, move the selection to "Message Rules" and from the sub-menu that opens, select "Mail".
3. Hit "New". In the section labeled "1. Select the Conditions for your rule:" use the mouse pointer to click in the box to the left of "Where the Subject line contains specific words"
4. In the section labeled "2. Select the Actions for your rule:" use your mouse pointer to click the box to the left of "Move it to the specified folder"
5. In the section labeled "3. Rule Description (click an underlined value to edit it):" use your mouse pointer to click on the words, "contains specific words"
6. In the box labeled "Type specific words or a phrase, and click Add", type "[S]" and click the "Add" Button the Click "OK"
7. In the selection labeled "#4. Name of the Rule:", edit the name of the Rule from "New Mail Rule #1" to "SPAM".
8. Click on "Move it to specified folder" and Click on the "New Folder" button. Type in "SPAM" and click "OK". Click "OK" again, and Click "OK" again. You will be returned to the "New Mail Rule" window.
9. Click the "OK" button, and the Message Rules window will open, showing your new "SPAM" rule in the upper box, and the rule description in the lower box:
10. Click the "OK" button to close the Message Rules window and to return to the Outlook Express main window.
